Scheduled Maintenance and Upgrade Activities at Waterworld
We’re making good progress on our big maintenance project and we're excited to share that the upgraded areas will reopen on Monday 20 April at 12pm (midday).
As part of the final stage of work, the spa was temporarily closed to allow important improvements to be completed. We know closures can be inconvenient and we sincerely thank you for your patience while we worked to bring these facilities up to modern standard.
What included in this project:

some finishing touches to the changing areas (e.g. tiles)

the spa, sauna, and steam room improvements
-
a cold plunge pool
-
transitioning from gas to a hybrid heating system to help offset rising energy costs
-
replacement of the 1976 chair lift to the gym area
-
streamlined gate access at customer services
-
repurposing the old circuit training room into a Reformer Pilates fitness studio.
We're looking forward to welcoming you back to enjoy these refreshed spaces when they reopen on Monday 20 April from 12pm.
